A random sampling of an on-going project documenting travel via the highways and byways of the USA.

Why would anyone seek to photograph from inside a moving motorhome? Well, there's a stillness of the land while riding by and a feeling of sadness of days gone by; the days I cherished as a child of the 50's. If there's any one thing that makes me continue to use photography as a means of expression, is the need to preserve the places and times I live in and those I've read about so long ago.

The only manipulation I may do to these pictures is maybe a slight crop. I do not know whether I will tone them or complete the project in black or white. I'm up to approximately 500 frames in 2 years and have many more to go. Perhaps when I  have chosen the final "keepers" & they are all layed out in front of me, maybe then, I'll come to a decision. Till then this is just a few grab shots.
