Scanographs are sometimes called scanography. These are cameraless images of objects that have been placed on a flatbed scanner, scanned directly into a computer then manipulated. Most anything is possible and as the old saying goes, you’re only limited by your imagination.
I become interested in scanographs because (1) I had plenty of silk flowers and (2) I had donated my entire chemical darkroom to a local junior high school.
My scanograph style is creating a soft watercolor wash look. See 100% crop of Lacy Lady for closeup detail.
