Every February & March we spend 2 months in Bradenton, Florida. In the winter of 2007, Anna Maria Island on the Gulf Waters became my muse and these are a few of my results.
The ocean waters were photographed digitally with a slow shutter speed and panning motion. My shutter speed hovered around 1/10th of a second. The colors were inspired by life on the island & are a direct result of how I felt each time I sat watching the vastness of the Gulf Waters.

I have spent countless hours at the historic Cortez Fishing Village and I'm always amazed at the Great White Egrets.

This past year was more a study in the abstract when possible. I just love these birds.
